How can you spot a fake Hermès Clic Clac H bracelet?
An iconic Hermès bracelet, the Clic Clac H, named after the sound it makes when opened and closed, has become a staple of luxury jewellery. Combining elegance and refinement, this bracelet sublimates the women who wear it. It was an instant hit when it was launched. Unfortunately, this piece of fine jewellery has also attracted swindlers who have been quick to put replicas on sale in order to make a profit. However, there are a few tricks you can use to spot a fake Clic Clac H bracelet from a genuine Clic Clac H bracelet from Hermès. Here are a few of them.
The size and weight of the bracelet :
The first thing to do when in doubt about the authenticity of your Hermès bracelet is to check its size and weight. Given the material used for the bracelet, it should feel slightly heavy in your hand. Counterfeit bracelets are much lighter because they are made from much less expensive materials.
What's more, counterfeiters often reproduce this bracelet smaller than it actually is. There are only two sizes of bracelet: PM and GM. The PM is 17.3 cm around the wrist and 20 cm wide. The GM is the same width, but slightly larger at 18.3 cm.

The shape of your Clic Clac H :
Pay particular attention to the shape of your Hermès bracelet. It says a lot about its authenticity. An original Hermès bracelet should fit perfectly on the wrist. A real Clic Clac H will be slightly oval, while a fake bracelet will most likely be circular.
The inscription "HERMES" must also be inscribed on the inside of the bracelet, followed by a number indicating the creation date of the jewellery.

The Hermès jewellery box :
The bracelet's box has a number of features that may tip you off if you're looking at a replica. The original box is orange and the font is dark brown. Counterfeiters generally use a black colour.
Also pay attention to the brand logo. The logo is represented by a horse pulling a cart. This logo is placed on two parallel lines spaced slightly apart. On replica boxes, crooks put only one or two lines, but these are not spaced far enough apart.
You can also see from the image that the counterfeiters are using a darker orange colour than the original.
