Leboncoin scam: a couple suspected of reselling stolen goods

On Friday 21 May, a man and a woman were arrested in Besançon. They were suspected of selling items they had allegedly stolen on the Leboncoin classified ads website. The managers of the multimedia and electrical goods shop alerted the Sûreté départementale after realising during inventories carried out at the beginning of the year that a number of thefts had taken place, resulting in a loss of 11,000 euros.
