Yvelines: he finds his stolen phone on Leboncoin, recovers it... then has it stolen again

A bizarre and risky story that began on 13 July in Houilles. In just two days, the victim went through a series of twists and turns. First, his phone was stolen, and the next day he had the impulse to look for it on Leboncoin and found it on the classified ads site. He then decided to meet up with the dealers, and they arranged to meet in Achères, where his phone was stolen again.

The scene took place in Houilles, in the Yvelines department, during a meeting scheduled for the sale of a telephone between private individuals. However, the meeting did not go according to plan, as the individual, who had just wanted to sell his phone, was attacked by several individuals and had his mobile phone stolen.

He decided to contact the person who had placed the ad, who arranged to meet him in Achères to complete the transaction.

The smartphone stolen again

However, once there, the man barely had time to get his phone back in his hands before he was attacked by two individuals. And his smartphone was stolen again. A never-ending story for the victim.

The next day, the man didn't wait and contacted one of his attackers again, offering him money in exchange for the phone. It was a risky idea, but one that paid off, as the man accepted. They both went to the rendezvous point, but this time the victim did not come alone, as she was accompanied by the Yvelines police.

Minors arrested

The police managed to intercept the thieves when they boarded a bus to follow the victim, who was also on board. The perpetrators, three young minors, were arrested without incident by the police and the phone was recovered without incident. The three offenders have since been brought before a judge with a view to their indictment.
