Types of payment
Depending on your needs and the type of transaction, offer the most suitable payment types to secure your customers' exchanges while providing an optimal shopping experience.
With hived-off funds
The funds are secured in a digital safe until the transaction is approved by the buyer and seller. The ring-fencing of funds is ideally suited to the sale of goods and services on marketplaces and adverts sites to secure exchanges and generate more trust.
Immediate payment
The buyer's funds are paid directly to the seller without any intermediate blocking period. Immediate payment is particularly suitable for payments for options, licences, and purchases on e-commerce platforms or in physical shops.
Payment on dispatch of the order
The buyer's funds are secured and then paid to the seller once the seller has shipped the order.
Payment on receipt of order
The buyer's funds are secured until the order is received by the buyer. Once the order is delivered, the seller is paid.
Bank pre-authorisations
Secure funds directly on a user's bank account via their bank card, for 7 days or 30 days.
Payment on dispatch of the order
The buyer's funds are secured and then paid to the seller once the seller has shipped the order.
Payment on receipt of order
The buyer's funds are secured until the order is received by the buyer. Once the order is delivered, the seller is paid.
Means of payment

Bank card
Accept payments with the cards most commonly used by your customers to facilitate and multiply your number of transactions in a simple and secure way with mandatory 3DS authentication.
Bank transfer
Allow your customers to pay by bank transfer from £200 upwards to settle a transaction or fund their e-wallet in anticipation of a payment. Bank transfers are ideal for large payments and provide an additional and popular payment option for your customers.
User balance
When your customers have funds in their e-wallet after a purchase or sale, they can reuse it for a new transaction. With balance-based payment, you encourage the reuse of funds and increase your number of transactions.
Payment by credit card in 3 or 4 times
Offer payment facilities with immediate acceptance or rejection of financing, communication of the payment schedule and full payment by the seller. In this way, you improve the purchasing power of your customers, encourage higher average baskets and increase your conversion rate to increase your revenue.

Transaction in delivery
Through Obvy's integrated carrier partners or your own carriers, integrate delivery to enable remote transactions.
Hand-delivered transaction
For transactions that involve the buyer and seller meeting, Obvy API offers payment by QR CODE scan or encrypted code entry.
Click & Collect transaction
In addition to payment by scanning a QR CODE or entering an encrypted code, transactions with in-store collection allow the location and time of collection of the order to be entered in order to organise appointments at the point of sale.
Service provision transaction
Service transactions allow for the establishment of a security period to define a period during which only the seller can cancel the transaction.
This option is ideal for combating untimely cancellations, no-shows, and attempts at non-payment when the service has been completed.
Multi-product and multi-seller shopping cart
Allow your customers to create a complete shopping cart, which can mix several items of different natures (goods and services), with different delivery modes (hand delivery, delivery, click & collect...) with several sellers.

Transport
Access the most popular carriers, directly integrated with the Obvy API, or synchronise your partner carriers' events with the solution to take advantage of the full range of features even if they are not natively integrated with the solution.
Mondial Relay
Mondial Relay, Obvy's partner carrier, is one of the leaders in parcel distribution in France and Europe with a network of nearly 11,000 relay points in France and more than 58,000 in Europe.
Chronopost
Chronopost, Obvy's partner carrier natively integrated into the solution, is the French leader in express parcel delivery to individuals and companies with 39,000 Pickup relays in Europe.
Colissimo
Colissimo, Obvy's partner carrier natively integrated into the solution, is La Poste's delivery service for private individuals and offers several delivery options: in a post office (10,000), in a Pickup Relay (15,000), in a left-luggage office (500) or at home.
Cocolis
Cocolis, an Obvy partner that is natively integrated into the solution, is a service that puts people in touch with each other for the transportation of goods in France.
Customised delivery
If you already have contracts with transport companies that are not Obvy partners, you can synchronise events between your carrier information system and Obvy API to benefit from the solution's features and services.
Returned parcels
If the buyer and seller agree to the return of the order, allow for a return label to be issued. Once the package is delivered, the transaction is released and the buyer is credited to their e-wallet.
Visual evidence
Allow your buying and selling customers to add visual evidence or documents to generate more confidence in transactions.
For example, the video evidence system is optimal when the seller films the good and its packaging, and the buyer films the unpacking of the package and the good he received.
Other resources (photos, documents...) can also be exchanged. All this evidence is hosted by Obvy.

For sensitive actions and operations, we provide pages hosted by Obvy to avoid the development of security, sensitive data storage and compliance tools.
Customisation of hosted pages
All the elements of these pages (colours, texts, logos, redirection links, options...) are customisable in order to offer interfaces in line with your company.
Double authentication
Access to pages where sensitive actions can be carried out (identity verification, withdrawal, transaction finalisation) are equipped with a double authentication system by sending a security code by SMS.
Payment page
To enable your users to make payments, we provide you with our customisable payment pages, where the payment methods displayed are configured by your company.
Identity verification page
In order to allow your users to carry out identity verification (natural or legal person), all the steps related to the KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure are already set up and ready to use.
Withdrawal page
When your users have funds in their e-wallet, for example as a result of a sale, a commercial gesture or a refund, they can transfer these funds to their bank account via this interface.
Transaction completion page
Whether it is a transaction of goods or services, in person or by delivery, we provide you with the interfaces for finalising the buyer and seller transaction, the methods of which depend on the type of transaction (validation button, encrypted code to be entered, QR CODE scan).
Delivery page
If you want to avoid the development of API integration for delivery management, this can also be managed by buyers and sellers directly on our hosted pages. Buyers and sellers can choose their carrier, package format, enter their delivery information, generate their delivery note and track their package.

Dispute resolution
For delivery transactions, offer suitable dispute resolution options to get out of a contentious situation without the buyer or seller feeling aggrieved.
Returned parcels

Price changes
Instead of returning the package, the seller can offer a discount on the original selling price to the buyer. When the offer is accepted, the seller receives the new selling price and the buyer is credited with the difference to their e-wallet.
Negotiation
In the case of a hand-delivered, click & collect or service transaction, the buyer and seller can negotiate the sale price until the transaction is finalised.
In a delivery transaction, the buyer and seller can negotiate the selling price until the transport label is issued, and then in the event of a dispute via the price change.
Commercial gesture
You can make commercial gestures by crediting a customer's e-wallet.
You can choose the type of transfer to be made:
- Either the money credited can be withdrawn by the customer.
- Either the money credited cannot be withdrawn and can only be used for payment in a future transaction.
Instant withdrawal
Allow your users to instantly withdraw their funds after a sale. Your customers can transfer them to their bank account, which is credited in seconds. You can add instant withdrawal fees, in fixed and/or variable values.
